Sperry Public School is accepting applications for the following 2026-2027 positions:

 

 

Certified Positions:

 

 

Elementary Assistant Principal-Must have current Oklahoma teaching certificate with Elementary Principal certification/endorsement; masters in School Administration or equivalent.

 

Social Studies Teacher-Must have current Oklahoma teaching certificate and be certified in one or more areas of social studies, or in elementary education. Experience teaching middle school preferred.

 

Physical Education/Health Teacher-Must have current Oklahoma teaching certificate in physical education. Duties may include elementary through eighth grade.

 

Elementary Education Teacher-Must have current Oklahoma elementary education teaching certificate. Certification in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education preferred.

 

Early Childhood Teacher-Must have current Oklahoma teaching certificate for Early Childhood Education, grades Pre-K through 3rd grade. 

 

Speech Pathologist-Must have a masters degree in speech pathology, current Oklahoma teaching certificate, and a certificate of clinical competencies certified by ASHA

 

Special Education Teacher-Must have current Oklahoma special education teaching certificate in Mild/Moderate and/or Severe-Profound and either elementary education or one or more secondary content areas. Must maintain effective records and complete all required paperwork and reports in a timely and accurate manner. Will directly instruct students as well as be file holder for students who are mainstreamed into regular classrooms. Experience teaching special education English or math preferred.

 

Science Teacher-Must have current Oklahoma teaching certificate and be certified and highly qualified in multiple areas of secondary science.  Preference will be given to candidates certified in biology and chemistry.

 

 

 

 

 

Coaching Positions:

 

Assistant High School Baseball Coach-Must have current Oklahoma teaching certificate.  Teaching assignment to be determined.  Additional duties may include assisting with other programs and preparing field for games. Preference given to applicants with previous baseball coaching experience.

 

Assistant High School Volleyball Coach-Must have current Oklahoma teaching certificate.  Teaching assignment to be determined.  Additional duties may include assisting with other programs and preparing area for games. Preference given to applicants with previous volleyball coaching experience.

 

Assistant High School Fastpitch Softball Coach-Must have current Oklahoma teaching certificate.  Teaching assignment to be determined.  Additional duties may include assisting with other programs and preparing field for games. Preference given to applicants with previous softball coaching experience.

 

 

Support Personnel/Non-Certified:

 

Night Custodial Foreman- Evening foreman for custodial staff. Will supervise night shift custodial staff, provide training for new employees as appropriate, and perform general cleaning and sanitizing duties as required. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb to high/difficult places, and perform repetitive motions with wrists and hands required. Two years of custodial experience in a school district, or 1 year of district experience plus 2 years of non-district custodial experience preferred. Night Custodial Foreman-job description
